Directing
Theater and film offer a precious opportunity to be with what is, and reframe a conversation towards a brighter vision for our collective future. I partner with visionary writers to explore stories that are buried in our bodies and bring underrepresented narratives to life.
I view my role as a director as an instigator of inquiry. I work most often in non-traditional creative processes and thrive off creating new practices of caring collaboration.
I generate and direct work with my company, Exploding Knot, that explores paradigms of power. I also collaborate with artists and companies on productions that fearlessly engage in new artistic forms and necessary conversations.
